Today was a deliciously fun day in our school! The children enjoyed baking rhubarb crumble using fresh, ripe rhubarb picked straight from our school garden. They carefully collected the rhubarb themselves and prepared it for baking, showing great teamwork and enthusiasm throughout. Following the recipe step by step, each child made their own crumble to take home and share with their families. We also made a large extra crumble, which everyone had the chance to taste—served warm with some lovely custard, which we enjoyed outside in the sunshine!
