Grass Heads!
The children in the Junior Room have been busy exploring the fascinating world of plant life. Over the past few weeks, they have been learning about the different stages of growth and what plants need in order to thrive. They discovered that plants require water, air, soil (clay), and sunlight to grow strong and healthy. To bring their learning to life, the children had great fun creating their very own “grass heads.” This hands-on activity allowed them to observe the different stages of growth up close as the grass began to sprout and change each day. There has been lots of excitement in the classroom as they check on their creations and notice the changes taking place. The children are especially looking forward to watching the grass continue to grow and seeing the different “hairstyles” develop over the coming weeks!
