Congratulations to our Green Schools Committee on achieving the Biodiversity Award. The children worked extremely hard on their biodiversity project throughout the year, completing wildlife surveys in our local area, continuously feeding wild birds, planting a bee pollination garden with carefully researched flowers, and growing our school vegetable garden with potatoes, carrots, onions, peas, lettuce, and rhubarb. Their hard work and dedication paid off, and yesterday they attended the awards ceremony at the Radisson Blu Hotel where they were proudly presented with their Green Schools flag and enjoyed a celebratory dinner. It was a very enjoyable and memorable day for everyone involved.
