Trip to Dublin!
Our school trip to Dublin was a fantastic adventure from start to finish! The children left the school in Emper bright and early at 7:30am to catch the train, full of excitement for the day ahead. After arriving, we hopped onto a double-decker bus that brought us to Leinster House, where we enjoyed a fascinating guided tour of the Dáil Éireann.
Following the tour, everyone was treated to a delicious Silver Spoon dinner and dessert, which was a real highlight. We then explored the National Museum of Ireland, where the children learned so much while seeing incredible exhibits up close.
Our walk through Merrion Square included a visit to the famous Oscar Wilde statue and a look at his former home. The children also had great fun enjoying some time together in the park before we began our journey home.
After a jam-packed and memorable day, we returned by train and arrived back at school at 4:45pm, tired but full of wonderful memories. It was a brilliant trip that everyone will remember for a long time!
